Private Pilot (Airplane)

Private Pilot (Airplane)

Theory Training:

Home Study: 100h with iPad or Online Campus.
5 Classroom sessions: 35h.
Course duration: 6 months.
Starting date: February and September.

Flight Training:

Cessna C172SP/G1000: min. 40h.
Redbird FMX Simulator: 17h.
Redbird Xwind Simulator: 3h.
Course duration: min. 4 months.
Starting date: Anytime.

Pre entry requirements: understanding English, Class I or II Medical.

Xwind Training Course

Theory Training:

Redbird Xwind simulator: 1 hour.

Pre entry requirements: Having experience as a glider, ultralight, light sport, private, commercial or airline pilot. (Pilots enrolled in a pilot training program are accepted as well.)

Garmin G1000 Avionics Course

Theory Training:

Home Study: 10 hours with G1000 King Schools CBT course.
Course duration: 2 days.

Flight Training:

VFR course: 1h training on the Redbird FMX.
VFR + IFR course: 2h training on the Redbird FMX.
GFC700 Autopilot training: 1h training on the Redbird FMX.
Additional training on the C172SP/G1000 is available upon request.

Pre entry requirements: Having experience as a Private, Commercial or Airline pilot. (Pilots enrolled in an pilot training program are accepted as well)

Hour Building Program USA

Boost your Pilot In Command Hours! (New)

Boost your Pilot In Command hours during this intensive program in San Diego (USA) and experience all the exciting places South California has to offer! We take care of all your travel arrangements and paperwork (including training VISA, etc.).

You’ll start with a short 7 hour training program to convert your EASA license to an FAA PPL. Therafter, you’re all set to explore the US airspace. You can fly to Catalina Island, Big Bear, Palm Springs and LA. Our team of experienced instructors is able assist you when required.

You’ ll have the choice between the following two programs:

81-hour Package Cessna 172/Garmin G1000

All in one 81 hour package on our C172’s, including housing for 2 months, training VISA, paperwork, rental insurance, EASA to FAA conversion (PPL) etc.

41-hour Package Cessna 172/Garmin G1000

All in one 41 hour package on our C172’s, including housing for 2 months, training VISA, paperwork, rental insurance, EASA to FAA conversion (PPL) etc.

Flight Training

Cessna C172SP/G1000: 10h.
Diamond DA42: 5h.
Course duration: 2 weeks.

Pre entry requirements:

PPL(A) License issues in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.
EASA Medical Class 1.
Have successfully passed all the theoretical knowledge examinations for the CPL or ATPL (validity > 6 months).
Sngle-pilot and multi-engine piston class rating.
A valid IR(A) or has a Basic Instrument Flight Module course completion certificate, to be accepted by EuroPilot Center.
Night Rating endorsed on the license.
Preferably have sound knowledge/experience with the Garmin G1000 system.
Have completed 150 hours* flight time; and have at least 100 hours Pilot In Command of which at least 20 hours cross-country (including a VFR cross-country flight of at least 300 NM in the course of which full stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure have be made).

*Note: it is highly recommended to have at least 185 hours total time before starting the course.

Have a Medical Class 1 or 2;
10 hours of instrument flight instruction (of which max 5 hours FSTD);
20 hours PIC, VFR cross-country;
Passed the pre-entry flight within 6 months preceding the start of the course;
Hold a CPL(A); or
Hold a PPL(A) with a CPL theoretical knowledge (except for an FI(A) providing training for the LAPL(A) only) and  200 hours of flight time on airplanes or TMGs (of which 150 hours as PIC);
30 hours SEP of which at least 5 hours during the 6 months preceding the pre-entry flight test.
Have performed a VFR cross-country as PIC of at least 300 NM in the course of which full stop landings at 2 different aerodromes have been made;
